How many Facebook group posts a day is safe?

Facebook doesn't say how many group posts you can make in a day, so anyone quoting an exact number is guessing. Accounts don't get restricted for hitting some number. They get restricted for how they post: too fast, too repetitive, or too much for that particular account. So what pace is safe?

What Facebook looks at

  • How old the account is and how active it's been lately.
  • Whether the gaps between posts are all the same. Even intervals stand out.
  • Whether the same text, photos and links repeat across groups.
  • Whether you're suddenly posting a lot more than usual.
  • The device and IP you use. Facebook links accounts that share a browser or an internet connection.
  • Past warnings and removed posts.

That's why two accounts can post the same thing and end up in very different places.

How many groups a day per account

These are our numbers from experience, not Facebook rules. They're for one warmed-up account posting varied content:

  • Under a month old: warm-up only, no group posting. After that, 3–5 groups a day.
  • 1–3 months: 10–20 groups a day.
  • 3–12 months: 20–40.
  • Over a year, and the account is used regularly: 40–80.

Don't start at the top of the range. Only move up a step after a week or two without a single warning. And if an account sat unused for months and then came back to life, Facebook treats it like a new one. More on that in warming up an account.

Speed matters more than the number

  • Spread your posting over 4–8 hours, or split it into two or three rounds: morning, midday and evening.
  • Vary the pauses. Exactly five minutes every time looks more like a bot than 3, 7 and 4 minutes.
  • Don't post to the same group more than once every day or two.
  • Vary the text and photos. How to do that.
  • Don't use link shorteners, and don't put the same link in dozens of posts.

Groups have their own limits

On top of Facebook's limits, every group has its own rules. Some have admins approve every post, others only let you post once a week. If a group keeps declining your posts, it won't change its mind. Just take it off your list.

When to stop

These are the warning signs: Facebook says you're posting too fast or that you've been temporarily blocked, posts go out but don't show up in the group, everything gets stuck in pending, or your reach suddenly drops. If you notice any of them:

  1. 01Stop right away. No “I'll just finish today's groups.”
  2. 02Give the account 1–3 days off: no posting, commenting or joining groups.
  3. 03For the next week or two, post half as much, with longer pauses.
  4. 04Don't try to get around the block with a VPN or another device. It only makes things worse. More in Facebook jail.

If you have several accounts

If a team posts from several accounts, each one needs its own browser profile and its own IP, and they should post to different groups. Facebook links accounts that share a browser or a connection, and restricts them together.

How Postyfy helps

  • Behavior presets (Slow, Standard, Fast, Random), plus pauses between groups and between account launches.
  • The “from–to” range: post to the first 20 groups on a list today and the next 20 tomorrow.
  • Account reliability: New, Medium or Trusted. Newer accounts get fewer groups.
  • Works with AdsPower, Dolphin Anty, GoLogin and Octo Browser, so each account gets its own profile and proxy. Setup is in step 10 of the tutorial.

Let Postyfy do the repetitive part

Warm-up, spintax, AI rewrites, pauses between groups and one schedule for all your accounts. Set it up once, then just check the report.
