Install and sign in
Download the desktop app, open it and sign in with your Postyfy account. Nothing else to install.
- macOS: open the .dmg and drag Postyfy to Applications.
- macOS, first launch: if macOS says it can't verify Postyfy, click Done, open System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll down to the line about Postyfy and click “Open Anyway”, then confirm with your password. You only do this once.
- Windows: run the downloaded Postyfy-Setup.exe. If Windows says “Windows protected your PC”, click More info, then Run anyway. You only do this once.
- Windows: follow the installer to the end — no admin password needed. It sets everything up in a few minutes, and Postyfy opens by itself after you click Finish. Next time, launch it from the desktop shortcut or the Start menu.
- The same account works here on the site and inside the app.

Find your way around the app
The Postyfy window has three fixed areas: the top bar, the menu on the left and the player bar at the bottom. Everything else opens in the middle. Below is a visual guide to what's where — the numbers match the captions.
- The menu on the left switches between sections: profiles, the schedule, group runs, posts, group lists, reports and settings.
- The player bar at the bottom always shows the selected account and what it's doing right now, plus PAUSE / STOP for the current run.
- The top bar holds notifications, tech support and your account.
The top bar. - Home — news and updates
- Search — find any section, account or setting
- Notifications
- Tech support
- Account — your plan and sign-in
The menu on the left — every section of the app. - Profiles — your accounts: sign in, link, post or warm up one at a time
- Schedule — tasks by day and time
- Group posting — post from all accounts at once
- Group warm-up — warm up all accounts at once
- Posts — the texts, photos and videos you publish
- Group lists — the groups you post to
- Monitoring — what every account is doing right now
- Report — the result of every post, with before/after screenshots
- Statistics — totals for any period
- Content check — AI reviews your post
- Group parser — find groups by keyword and save them as a list
- Tutorial — this guide
- Settings — browser, behaviour, AI, updates and MCP
The player bar. - The selected account and its status
- What the account is doing right now — a live log of its actions
- PAUSE — freeze the process and resume where it left off
- STOP — stop the run and close the account's browser
- Change the view
- Progress of the current run

Optional: connect an antidetect browser
You can run Postyfy without one — it works out of the box. Multi-accounting means running several accounts at the same time for far more reach, and that's where an antidetect browser helps: each account behaves as if it's on its own separate computer, with its own fingerprint and proxy, so social networks have a much harder time linking your profiles together as one chain.
- Running a single account? You can skip this step entirely.
- Multi-accounting = several accounts posting in parallel — more groups covered, more reach.
- Open AdsPower (or your antidetect browser) and enable its local API.
- Not on AdsPower? In Postyfy go to Settings → Browser and pick yours: Dolphin Anty, GoLogin or Octo Browser — the port is set for you.
- Dolphin Anty also needs an API token: create one in your Dolphin account (API section), paste it into Settings → Browser → Dolphin Anty and press Save. Dolphin's free plan doesn't let apps start profiles — a paid Dolphin plan is needed.
- Create one browser profile per account, each with its own proxy — a “separate computer” per account.
- You'll paste each profile's ID from the antidetect browser into the “Account ID” field in Postyfy when you add the account — that's the next step.
- Keep in mind: the antidetect browser has to stay running the whole time Postyfy is working — otherwise the accounts in it simply won't open.
Get AdsPower ↗Settings → Browser: pick your antidetect browser and check its local API port. - 04
Add a profile and link your Facebook account
A profile is one Facebook account inside Postyfy. Create it in Profiles, then link it once — you sign in to Facebook yourself, and from then on Postyfy signs in without you.
- Profiles → “Add” in the top right. The only required field is the profile name — letters, digits, spaces, dashes or underscores, up to 40 characters.
- Facebook email and password are optional: with them Postyfy can sign back in on its own if the session drops mid-run.
- Pick the account reliability — New, Medium or Trusted. It decides how tasks are spread across accounts; “Do not use” keeps an account out of group runs.
- Antidetect browser from step 03? Paste that browser's profile ID into “Account ID”. Leave it empty to run in Postyfy's own Chrome.
- Press “Create profile” — the account appears in the list, not linked yet.
- Link it on a Mac: press “Link” in the account's row. A browser opens on Facebook — sign in to that exact account (if the wrong one is open, log out and sign in to the right one), come back to Postyfy and press “Done”. The browser closes and the button turns green: the profile is ready for warm-up and posting.
- Link it on Windows: press “Link” in the account's row. The profile's own window opens on Facebook. Sign in to that exact account there. Then press the red STOP button at the bottom of Postyfy. The window closes and “Link” turns green: the profile is ready for warm-up and posting.
- With an antidetect browser, skip “Link”: press “Log in” instead — it opens that account's own profile inside the antidetect browser, and you sign in there once.
- If Facebook asks you to confirm your identity, that's routine — complete it in the same window. Press “Done” (on Windows — STOP) only once every check is passed and you can see your Facebook feed.
Profiles → “Add”. Enter a profile name and reliability — and, if you want this account to run in an antidetect browser, its profile ID. Then click “CREATE PROFILE”. (Important: the same antidetect browser must be selected in Settings → Browser.) Click “Link” on the new account: a browser opens — sign in to Facebook and click “Done”. (No linking needed if you use an antidetect browser.) A green button means the account is linked. White means you need to link it again. Grey means this account uses an antidetect browser. - 05
Warm up your accounts before posting
Fresh profiles are best warmed up before you put them to work. Postyfy has several modes for that: it scrolls the feed, watches videos, reads messages and notifications, and browses everyday sites — all like a real person. Warm-up can run on its own or as part of a posting run.
- Why it matters: an account that only ever opens Facebook and posts to groups looks empty and suspicious to the network. A real person has a history — they scroll, like, watch videos and visit other sites. Warm-up builds exactly that.
- Feed — scrolls the Facebook feed, reads posts, likes things, checks notifications and messages, and may click an ad. If you allow it in the settings, it also sends friend requests and joins groups.
- Video — watches Reels and longer videos with natural motion. That gives the account interests: Facebook learns what it likes, and the feed starts to make sense.
- Cookies — doesn't touch Facebook at all: Postyfy browses everyday sites and builds up browser history. The Meta pixel sits on a huge number of sites, and a real person always has that outside history. The sites come from a preset for your region (Settings → Cookies) — edit it or build your own.
- To find sites with the Meta (Facebook) pixel for your preset, use the Meta Ads Data Advisor Chrome extension.
- Start it from a profile's card (“Warm-up”) or for several accounts at once in Group warm-up. Session length, pauses and the odds of each action live in Settings → Behaviour.
- Group warm-up handles all your accounts in a single run, so you don't have to start each one by hand. Pick a mode (FEED, VIDEO, COOKIES or RANDOM), the pause between account launches and the warm-up duration. Postyfy shuffles the order of the accounts and starts them with that pause, or one after another. Accounts marked “Do not use” are skipped. How many accounts can run at the same time depends on your plan.
- Warm-up before posting: in the same settings you can set the odds that an account scrolls the feed like a regular user first and only then starts publishing.
To warm up one account, click “Warm-up” in its row and pick a mode — FEED, VIDEO or COOKIES. Group warm-up: set the mode, the pause between account launches and the warm-up duration for all accounts at once, then click “NEXT”. (Note: how many accounts run at the same time depends on your plan. Check yours under Account (top right) → “Manage plan”.) The warm-up plan: check the accounts and click “START”. - 06
Create your posts
All your posts live in the Posts section. You build a post once — a name, the text, and a photo or video — and then simply pick it whenever you run posting.
- Open the Posts tab → “Create a post” → give it a name so it's easy to find later.
- Write the post text. To send different wording to different groups, use Spintax — options in curly braces separated by |: {Selling|For sale|Giving away} a bike. On every publish the program picks one of them.
- Optional: connect AI and it will rewrite the post from scratch before every publish. Turn it on in Settings → Text (AI): paste your API key, pick the tone and set the rules for what it may and may not say.
- Attach a photo (up to four slots) or a video up to 50 MB — a post is photo or video, not both.
- Before sending, Postyfy quietly processes every photo — nudging the pixels, brightness and metadata — so each group gets a new file with its own digital fingerprint. Manage it in Settings → Photo: turn it on or off and set how strong the changes are.
- Choose how photos go out: “All” — every selected photo in one post, the same for every group; “One by one” — each group gets its own photo in rotation (group 1 → photo 1, group 2 → photo 2, and so on). The same picture never lands in neighbouring groups, so there are fewer repeats.
- Save — the post is stored and ready to pick when you run posting.
Posts → “CREATE A POST”. Add a name, the text (Spintax works here) and up to 4 photos or a video, then click “SAVE”. The preview on the right shows how the post will look on Facebook. The “All / One by one” switch: “All” puts every photo in a single post; “One by one” posts one photo per group, rotating through them. The “Photo / Video” switch sets what gets published — the chosen photos or the video. A post goes out with either photos or a video, never both. - 07
Build a group list — or let the parser find them
A group list is a named set of groups you'll post to — each is just a name and its URL. You pick the list when you run posting, and the post lands in every group on it. No list yet? The built-in Group parser finds groups for you and saves them straight into a new one.
- Manual: Group lists → new list, name it (e.g. “HR — Tel Aviv”), then add each group by its URL.
- Bulk import: paste a whole list at once — just keep the format name + address (URL) for each group.
- For every group Postyfy first tries to find it organically in search by name; if it can't, it opens the direct link — so both the name and the URL matter.
- Use regular open groups — the ones with a “Write something…” box at the top. Buy-and-sell groups (“Sell something” / “What are you selling?” instead of a text box) aren't suitable: a post there is a product listing, not a wall post. Postyfy tells them apart on its own — when it opens such a group and finds no text box, it skips it and moves on to the next one.
- Reorder or remove groups any time — a list is reusable across every run.
- Group parser: pick a scout account and type a search query like “Apartments Tel Aviv” or “Jobs Haifa”.
- Filter the results — minimum members (say 5,000+) and words to exclude — then set how many groups to collect (30–100).
- Already in good groups? Switch the parser to “download joined groups” instead of searching.
- Start it — Postyfy searches like a real person and saves what it finds into a fresh list, ready to post to.
Group lists: click “ADD A LIST”, then “+ Groups”, and paste the links to your groups. Group parser: choose a scout account, what to collect and a search query, then click “START”. The new list will appear in Group lists. - Group name. Copy it into your group list exactly as it appears here — Postyfy types this name into Facebook search to find the group.
- Group type. Public groups are fine. In a private group, the post only goes through if the account is already a member.
- The Discussion tab. This is where posts go.
- The “Write something…” box, or something like it. If it's there, you can post to the group. If it isn't, either the account hasn't joined the group yet or it's a buy-and-sell group (you'll see “Sell something” instead). Postyfy skips groups like that.

Publish your first posts
Now put it all together. Open Profiles, go to Posting, choose your post, your group list and the range of groups, then press Start. Postyfy will open each group, type the text the way a person would, attach the media and publish your posts.
- Profiles → Posting → pick the post, the group list and the group range, then Start.
- Group posting on Lite runs your profiles one after another; on Pro they all run at once.
- Watch the log while it works — every action is visible, group by group.
- The Monitoring tab shows every account at once: who's working, who's finished, who hit an error and which group each one is on right now.
- The Report tab has the outcome for every group, with screenshots from before and after publishing. You can download the report.
To post from one account, click “Posting” in its row. Pick the post, the group list and the “from–to” range, then click “START”. The post is on the left; the groups it will go to are on the right. Group posting — all accounts at once: pick the post, the group list, the “from–to” range of posts, the pause between account launches and how the text goes in — typed out or pasted in all at once. Then click “NEXT”. (Note: how many accounts run at the same time depends on your plan. Check yours under Account (top right) → “Manage plan”.) The posting plan: groups are split between accounts by reliability. “Redistribute” reshuffles the split; “START” launches the run. - 09
Schedule and repeat
Set posting to run on a schedule across your accounts. Concurrency follows your plan — Lite runs one account, Pro runs up to five at once.
- Add schedule entries bound to a group list.
- A day's schedule can be copied to any other day: click the floppy-disk icon next to the date, then click the day you want.
- Overlapping tasks queue until an account slot frees up.
- Reports show what was posted, where and when.
Schedule: pick a day and click “ADD A TASK”. That day's tasks are listed below the calendar. A task: set the action, profile, post, group list, range and time, then click “Save”. A warm-up only needs a profile and a time. - 10
Make it yours: tune the behaviour
Open Settings → Behaviour to control how human Postyfy acts — typing speed, pauses, how deep the warm-up goes, how it browses. Start from a ready preset, then fine-tune anything you like.
- Pick a preset: Slow, Standard, Fast or Random.
- Or adjust the individual settings across warm-up, posting, typing, cookies and more.
- Switch how text goes in: Paste (instant) or Type (typed out character by character — slower but more human).
- Slower and more varied looks more human; faster gets through more groups.
Settings → Behaviour: choose a ready-made preset or fine-tune each setting below. - 11
Optional: let AI rewrite every post
By default Spintax already varies your text from a {option1|option2} template. For maximum uniqueness you can also switch on AI in Settings → Text (AI): it rewrites the post with a neural network before every publish, so no two are ever the same. Entirely optional.
- Settings → Text (AI): turn AI on and paste your API key.
- Set the mood (strict, friendly or random) and rules for what it may and may not say.
- Leave it off and Spintax alone still keeps every post unique.
Settings → Text (AI): choose a provider, paste your API key, click “Connect” — then switch AI on. - 12
Control it with AI (MCP)
On the Pro plan, Postyfy comes with a built-in MCP server. Connect an AI assistant or any MCP client and manage posting, schedules, accounts and reports remotely.
- To connect: Settings → “Updates (MCP)” → the “Connecting AI control” block at the bottom → “Copy”. Paste what you copied into your AI assistant's settings (Claude, ChatGPT or any other that can hook up tools over MCP).
- From then on, just talk to it in plain words: “set up five profiles”, “schedule posting for tomorrow at 10:00 to the Work list”, “show me what failed yesterday and why”.
- The assistant can do everything you can do in the app: create profiles and posts, build group lists, add tasks to the schedule, start and stop runs, show the state of your accounts, go through reports and change settings.
- Before a run, you can ask it to show exactly what will go where — and only then tell it to publish.
- It all runs locally on your computer: your account data never leaves it.
Settings → Updates (MCP): copy the config and paste it into your AI assistant's settings. - 13
A word about responsibility
Postyfy doesn't decide anything for you — it simply carries out, inside your account, the actions you've asked for, the same way you would by hand. How many posts go out from an account, to which groups and with what text is entirely up to you. So it's worth reading Facebook's rules once and keeping your activity within reason: that's how accounts stay healthy and restrictions stay rare.
- Start gently: a modest number of groups a day, pauses and warm-up. Ramp up gradually — that's how a real person behaves.
- Your text and media should follow the rules of the groups you post to and Facebook's own standards — spam, misleading content and banned topics get flagged no matter how they're published.
- Not sure about a text? Check it first in the Content check tab: paste it, press “Check” and get a verdict — safe, risky or violating — with a note on what exactly raises a flag. Fix it and check again. It runs on AI, so it needs the same API key as text rewriting (Settings → Text (AI)).
- If Facebook asks you to confirm your identity or limits an account, it's reacting to the activity or the content, not to the program: complete the check, slow down and give the account a rest.
