How to post to multiple Facebook groups at once in 2026
There's no button in Facebook that sends one post to ten groups. If a guide says there is, it's out of date. And tools like Buffer can't post to groups anymore, because Meta shut that off in 2024. So what still works?
Why there's no “post to all groups” button
A post only goes to the group you write it in. Back in 2021 Facebook tested a “share to more groups” option, but it never launched. Old guides and AI chatbots still describe it, which is why people keep looking for a button that isn't there. The Share button works the same way: one group at a time.
Your options
- By hand. Free and fine for a few groups. But somewhere past 20 or 30 you start rushing, pasting the same text, skipping groups and forgetting what's waiting for approval.
- The Share button. Pick a group, share, repeat. The group sees your text with the original post underneath, author's name included. Some groups delete shares like that.
- A for-sale listing. When you create a listing with “Sell something,” you can add it to other buy-and-sell groups you're in. This only works for items, vehicles and property, not regular posts.
- A tool that posts from your account. It opens each group in a browser and publishes the post the way you would. You don't need to be an admin, just a member who's allowed to post.
Share or new post?
A share keeps the original author's name, and it only goes through in groups that allow shares. A new post goes out under your name, with the text and photos uploaded fresh. Only copy your own posts, or ones you have the rights to.
You'll see claims that shares get half the reach. Meta has never published numbers like that. Go by the group's rules and by whose name should be on the post.
Why Buffer and Hootsuite stopped posting to groups
Meta announced in January 2024 that it was closing the Groups API, and switched it off on April 22. Since then Buffer, Hootsuite, Later and the rest only post to Pages and Instagram. Zapier's Facebook Groups integration is gone too.
Even before that, the API only worked in groups where an admin had connected the app. You could never use it to post to groups you'd simply joined. So don't wait for it to come back. Today the only way to post to groups is through a logged-in account.
How to run a group posting campaign
- 01List the groups you're in and sort them by city, audience or rules. Buy-and-sell groups expect a price and photos, while discussion groups often ban promotion.
- 02Write the post once, but with variations from spintax or AI, and get a few different photos ready. Why that matters.
- 03Post to one group where you know posting is fine, and check that everything looks right.
- 04Then post to the rest with pauses in between, spread over a few hours. For how many groups a day is safe, see posting limits.
- 05Afterwards, check what went live, what's waiting for an admin and what got removed. If a post is pending, don't send it again, or you'll end up with a duplicate.
How Postyfy does it
- Your groups go into Group lists. Paste in links, or let the Group parser find groups by keyword or pull in the ones you've already joined.
- Spintax, an optional AI rewrite before every post, and photos in rotation. No two groups get the same version.
- Group posting runs several accounts at once. Postyfy splits the groups between them based on reliability, so two accounts never post to the same group.
- Pauses, behavior presets and a Report with before and after screenshots for every group. Setup is in step 08 of the tutorial.
Let Postyfy do the repetitive part
Warm-up, spintax, AI rewrites, pauses between groups and one schedule for all your accounts. Set it up once, then just check the report.
